Children of the Dagda

Explore the Lore of the Good God's Scions

Enroll Now

Online Class where we will explore the lore of the Children linked to the Dagda, Good God of the Tuatha Dé Danann. Some of these you may already be familiar with, but there are others worth looking into as we learn more about the family of the Olathair.

The class will cover some of the main tracts in the old lore of Ireland and where the descendents of the Dagda can be found. There is a lot of content on some of the children, but alas there are some for whom we only have but a few lines of text to go on. We will then take a step into the teacher's personally informed perspectives in regards to these individuals and what these stories might mean for us in a modern practice. This Teaching is suitable for beginners, as well as those with more experience in this area, or in other traditions. You do not have to be dedicated to or working with any Irish Gods, Guides, or Guardians to take this class.

Jena Griffin commented on The Dagda - Hearth Hero & Domestic Deity

I loved this course so much! It was informative and thorough despite being free. Brighid is my Matron Goddess but I want to learn as much as can about other Gods and Goddesses in the Irish Pantheon. I became more interested in The Dagda after this course. Thank you for sharing this information!

Michelle Abrahmz commented on Doing the Work; Dagda Style. An Exploration of Dagda Magic

As with all the Dagda courses, Jon gives a wealth of information that will have been coming back again and again to explore. In this class, Jon shows how The Dagda goes about employing magic in true Dagda style. He also links each example back to source literature which I feel is important to get a true understanding of the gods. The information was shared with insight and passion based on a long time connection with An Dagda, only as Jon can tell. I wholeheartedly recommend doing all the classes on An Dagda to get a full, rich understanding of who He is.
