There are few names that come readily to mind when we think of ancient Irish Heroes. That is not because there was any lack of epic struggles, terrible monsters, or incredible feats to perform. This course will be exploring some of the tales of one of the last great heroes of ancient Ireland, Fionn Mac Cumhaill. We will be diving into his origins, his boyhood deeds, his greatest trials against this and Otherworldly foes, and seeing what it was that made him so remarkable and memorable. There is much to learn from the stories of Fionn, not least of which is the mystical origins of one of his greatest abilities, and why he would regularly suck his thumb.
This Teaching is suitable for beginners, as well as
those with more experience in this area, or in other traditions. You do
not have to be dedicated to or working with any Irish Gods, Guides, or
