The Tuatha Dé Danann (meaning, roughly, 'people of Danú') are the main deities of pre-Christian Gaelic Ireland. These gods, also known by the name Tuatha Dé ('tribe of the gods'), are some of the most popular in modern Paganism... but they are also the ones it is most difficult to find accurate, authentic information and advice on.
You may think you know about them - but do you really? Would you like to meet them through the guidance of a native Irish Priestess? We’ll explore the lore of the Tuatha Dé over the course of an hour (or more) in this online class, and then take a Guided Journey to meet and visit with one of them, using the instructor's unique Irish Guided Journeying method.
In this class we cover:
-- What is a God?
-- Tuatha Dé Danann - overview of their origins and lore
-- The First Battle of Moytura
-- The Second Battle of Moytura
-- Name, Pronunciation Guide, and Primary/Starting Source for each of the Gods covered
-- How to Build Relationships
-- Addressing your Cognitive Biases
There is a bonus Recommended Resources Video and Audio too!
The class includes 2+ hours of Teaching Presentation, then a separate Guided Journey to connect to one of the Irish Gods directly (your choice which one!) – using Lora’s native Irish Otherworld Journeying method. This Class, and the Guided Journey, are suitable for beginners, as well as those with more experience in other traditions.
Lora is a modern Draoí – a practitioner and priest of indigenous Irish magic and spirituality, in the simplest terms. She has been consciously following a pagan path for over 25 years, and dedicated specifically to the Irish Goddess Mórrígan in 2004. She managed one of Ireland's most important sacred sites - Cruachán/Rathcroghan - for a decade, and is a co-founder and legal celebrant with Pagan Life Rites Ireland. With her partner, Jon O'Sullivan, she is the co-founder of the Irish Pagan School. Lora is currently a candidate for a Masters Degree in Irish Regional History (2023), on the topic of Ogham.
