A lot of people, when they hear that you follow the Morrigan, wonder how you can follow a battle Goddess while being an office worker. The truth of course is that battle is only one aspect of the Morrigan. But more than that, what it means to do battle has changed, what it means to be a warrior has changed. In this talk Ian will discuss how modern ideals and paths can connect to the Morrigan, as well as the myriad of ways that one can be in service.

"I have been diving into the online conference, as I couldn't attend live, and I have been just blown away. Totally. Like never before. The presenters and the material have been just extraordinary. But it is so much more. This conference has so opened my eyes to something so so profound... how alive, contemporary and evolving Irish paganism is. I know that this is no surprise to you, but as a solitary, wandering soul in exile in a far away land it has been incredibly exciting. Thank you so much for putting this together and sharing your world with us."

Ian started to explore spirituality in his early 20's, but it wasn't until after he was 30 that he started to walk a path that was meaningful to him. Though progress has seemed slow to him, we all walk our paths at different speeds. He is a follower of the Morrigan, and has been tasked with providing guidance, both to her followers and to those who find their way to him. Some would call him a priest of the Morrigan, and hopefully, he will someday feel that he has earned that title.
