We meet live once a month for six months, and each gathering takes a real theme, opens it up together, and leaves plenty of room for your own questions rather than a lecture you sit quietly through. The themes flex to the circle in front of me, and here's the shape of what we tend to cover.

Meeting the Tuatha Dé Danann

Objective: Get your bearings in the family and world the Dagda belongs to.

Jon O'Sullivan

Jon O'Sullivan, known as An Scéalaí Beag, is an Irish Bard, teacher, and Pagan Reverend, a tour guide, author, and storyteller devoted to his patron deity, the Dagda, chief of the Tuatha Dé Danann.

He co founded the Irish Pagan School with his partner Lora O'Brien, and he shares the tales of the Good God across the IPS blog, the YouTube channel, and the podcast, where followers bring him their questions.

Q: How much time will this take each month?
One live session a month, an hour and a half on the second Saturday evening, plus whatever quiet practice you choose to keep between gatherings. If a night doesn't suit, the recording is yours, so the time asked of you is gentle and realistic.
Q: I'm on a tight budget, are there options?
There are two ways in, 175 a month across the six months, or 975 paid in full if you'd rather save a little and settle it once. If the funds simply aren't there this time, that's a clear and fair no, and I'd never want you under strain to sit by a fire.
Q: I don't know much of the lore, is that alright?
It's more than alright. The circle is built for every level, beginner and seasoned side by side, and I teach from a beginner's mindset throughout. A mix of experience is the point, because every person brings their own angle on the Dagda, and that gives the rest of us something to learn.
Q: Do I need Irish ancestry?
You need no Irish blood to build a relationship with the Dagda. He himself wasn't born in Ireland, he came to it and made it his home, and the fire is open to anyone who approaches with respect, curiosity, compassion, and honour.
Q: What if I can't make one of the live sessions?
Every session is recorded and yours to keep, so you can catch up in your own time. You can also send your questions in beforehand and I'll answer them on the night, so you stay part of the circle either way.

The Dagda has been my patron for a long time now, and the thing I've come to love most about him is that he's known through what he does and who he shows up for, not through grand descriptions of his power.
