Each year, I run a 6 month intensive programme called ‘Meeting the Mórrígan’. This online course is available to a select number of students, by application only, and acceptance is awarded only in conjunction with Herself. Look, I don’t make the rules, ok?

It's difficult to describe what this Programme involves, and what it can do for you... but sure, let's give it a go.

Practically, there are a limited number of places available, and the selection process is complicated - so we have a small and often intimate community with each annual group. This may also involve members from previous years who are repeating the programme, as many of our previous student choose to update their enrollment for the new year.

We meet online once per month, on the last Sunday at 7pm Irish Standard Time, for approximately 90 minutes. We do some check ins, updates, and a Guided Journey together. Your monthly materials (including the meeting and Journey recordings) are delivered by the first of each new month, and your work begins.

2020 DATES (all times are Irish Standard Time)

  • Enrollment Opens - Saturday 23rd May - 11pm
  • Enrollment Closes - Tuesday 26th May - Midnight
  • Application Reviews - Friday 29th May
  • Application Acceptance/Refunds - Saturday 30th May - Midnight
  • First Online Meeting - Sunday 31st May - 7pm (90 minutes)

Self development and growth are a huge part of this Programme. We start from the beginning with daily personal practice, as well as serious research and scholarly study, and active community building and interaction (we maintain a private Facebook group for programme members only) on a weekly basis.

Over the course of the 6 months, you will learn a whole lot about the Mórrígan, as viewed and related to from a native perspective and decades of personal priesthood experience. You will also learn a whole lot about yourself, and whether priesthood, or even a regular contractual/devotional relationship, is the right thing for you going forward.

You also need to understand, and I mean really consider, that this is an INTENSIVE. The most common way previous students describe this work is LIFE CHANGING. You are entering into a third level education equivalent work plan and commitment, for 6 months. Do not underestimate this!

There is a daily practice commitment of about 10 minutes per day in the first month, building up towards 30 minutes per day in the final month. All in all, students have reported spending between 7 to 10 hours per week at their studies, plus there are weekly video check-ins, as well as 90 mins of online meeting and Guided Journey time each month.

Be Ready.

"This is a thoroughly researched, detailed and well-taught course. I highly recommend it. Lora's knowledge of the Morrigan is experiential, honest and grounded. Her guidance is beyond valuable and her teaching style is exceptional. The work is intense and will be challenging, but the transformation you'll experience is worth every last drop of effort and commitment."

Lora O
Lora O'Brien

Lora is an Author, Teacher, and Guide: native born Irish, with 20+ years personal and professional experience in our history, heritage, archaeology, mythology, and pre-christian Irish Spirituality. Publications include - Irish Witchcraft from an Irish Witch, 2004; A Practical Guide to Irish Spirituality, 2013; Tales of Old Ireland - Retold, 2018; A Practical Guide to Pagan Priesthood, Llewellyn 2019; and a forthcoming work on Queen Medb, 2020.

She is a modern Draoí – a practitioner and priest of indigenous Irish magic and spirituality, in the simplest terms. Lora has been consciously following a pagan path for over 25 years, and dedicated specifically to the Irish Goddess Mórrígan in 2004. She managed one of Ireland's most important sacred sites - Cruachán/Rathcroghan - for a decade, and is a co-founder and legal celebrant with Pagan Life Rites Ireland.

"I've taken many of Lora's classes, and had the pleasure of spending a day with her at Rathcroghan, the royal site of Connaught and site of The Morrigan's "fit abode" Oweynagat. I know of no other teacher out there with so intimate a knowledge of the Goddess Morrigan Herself, Her history, and her sacred places.

The Morrigan intensive truly changed me as a person. Yes, it is truly INTENSE: a college - level workload, and a Goddess taking a deep dive into your psyche. But if you do the work you will come out on the other side transformed. You'll be stronger, know yourself better, and know the real Morrigan- the badass War Goddess as She is, with no fluff and BS added. It's deep, transformative, and worth every bit of it."

"My biggest fear going into the Morrigan Intensive was that I wouldn’t find the answers to my questions. I was wrong. I found my answers and answers to questions I didn’t even know I had. Some of the answers I liked and some of them I didn’t but Lora was always there guiding with a firm hand. Guiding but never pushing. Not only is Lora a wise teacher but she compassionately holds space for her students allowing their unique paths to unfold.

The modules are so well laid out that I just had to show up and follow them. It was exactly the boost I needed and solved the problem I was having staying on track with independent study. Yes, it was a lot of work, intensive is an accurate description. But nothing worth doing is ever easy and this was truly worth doing"

INFORMATION VIDEO [TRAN]SCRIPT... {please note it's not 100% accurate, but very close to it - I do tend to go off script when recording!}

What if there was a detailed process that, once committed to and immersed in, could put you in Right Relationship - a truly authentic give and take connection - and working solidly with the Mórrígan, and her sisters?

What if you could develop an understanding and practice of sovereignty, in different areas of your life, and help in the greater work that needs doing in this world, by bringing that to your connections with the communities you are a part of?

Well, I’ve got that process, right here through the community we are building at the Irish Pagan School.

I’m Lora O’Brien, and as some of you may already know - I’ve been actively working on my own Right Relationship with the Mórrígan, and guiding other folks in theirs, for over 16 years now. A good chunk of that work was (and still is) being done while physically located beside the Mórrígan’s ‘fit abode’ - the gateway between this world and the Other, which is Uaimh na gCat at Cruachán (Rathcroghan), her most sacred site.

And… I would love to guide you too. When you are working in Right Relationship with this impressive Irish deity, then you have that authentic connection to Ireland, and our Gods, that is missing from so much of what you can find available elsewhere.

Once you know how to do this work - step by step - what to do on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, then you can step forward safely - within a carefully facilitated, secure community who are also committed to achieving the same authentic connection you are seeking.

When you have a solid connection to the Mórrígan, with the give and take in balance, then there is nothing you can’t do. Seriously. Having this deity on my side has saved my life more times, and in more ways, than I care to think about.

So that’s what this video is about… helping those who are ready to take things a few steps further, and commit to doing some consistent, in depth, work on truly Meeting the Morrígan, over our 6 month Intensive Programme.

I first started this Programme, back in December of 2014, as a 6 week course with very few students. I had been teaching Irish Pagan topics online a little from about 2012, in classes here and there, but it wasn’t until I left my manager’s job at Rathcroghan that I was ‘allowed’ to bring Mórrígan specific teaching to a wider audience. Up until that point, she had been sending people to me… but times were changing, and it was time to send me out into the world. That happened physically, when I first had to travel to the US as her ‘Herald’ (Pantheacon in California, and teaching in New York, in 2015). But digitally, this course was the beginning of a much wider outreach and training Programme that she wanted me to instigate. She told me it was time to bring ‘real information’ and ‘authentic connection to Ireland’, out to the world, in her name.

Sounds like a big deal eh? I don’t tend to talk about it too much, coz it also sounds like a big ego, to my ears. Until I turn around and actually look back on what was available at the time, the reputation she was having put upon her, and the absolute shite that so many teachers and community leaders were spouting.

When I started working on my ‘herald’ duties, we had very few reliable resources available. So, everything you’ve seen from me in the last 5 years, at least, has been part of this mission from the Mórrígan. Real information - accessible across multiple formats and not exclusively behind a paywall (though she does insist that those who can afford to pay me for my work, do so… this is no doubt part of her long term strategy to keep me in a position where I can continue to do the work - I’m under no allusions as to whether she personally cares for my health and well being, or not).

Now, we’re in a different place – I’ve gathered so much of my lifetime’s immersion in our native Irish spiritual traditions and energies, as well as my specific and extensive studies of our Irish lore, and my own direct connection as a hard working Priest of the Mórrígan since 2004… and I’ve distilled it all down into this valuable Programme that takes us on a deep dive into the research, the experiences, and the integration that is necessary for this to be a lifetime path we can walk with confidence.

And it all started with her call to action, which I answered to the best of my ability, and I’m still answering every single day.

Now at this point, the big concern is always - how could I fit this into my life every single day? How could I take 6 months of college level study and practice, and commit to that each week, each month? And my answer is always the same. When it’s important, we make the time. We find the time. I’ve done it myself, and I’ve seen it happen over and over as my students take the same deep dives as I’ve had to trust in.

A year from now, you’ll see this work come back around (we only open this programme once per year), you’ll see another year has ticked by on the calendar, and you’ll either be thinking the same things, having the same concerns, and living the same life… do you want that?

Or do you want your life to CHANGE?

Look, I could tell you all day long about how profound this Programme can be for you, once you commit to it, but I’m too close to it all. Instead, here’s what 2018 Student Pamela Holcombe said:

“This course challenged me in every way possible. When she says life changing she means it. It was painful, very painful at times, but l got through it. There is no better teacher and guide into the Morrigan's world. Just be prepared for college level education and alot of time spent working hard on the materials. I am glad l took this course, l had alot of hard stripping away by the Morrigan and rebuilding that frankly nearly broke me. That was herself though not Lora. So if your interested in her and she's calling you this is the place to get your information support system and help through the storm. She warns you it may be hard and it was fucking hard. I would not have changed it though on the other side of it. Thank you Lora l survived and l am greatful to you for all your wisdom and guidance. It's hard folks but absolutely worth every penny and all the work. I believe the Morrigan stands proud of this course, of how it educates and changes some of us.”

Not exactly a sales pitch, is it?! But that’s not what I’m trying to do here. I really want students in 2020 who are the best possible fit for this Programme, and for each other. And that means you have to be seriously prepared to work damn hard, in order to gain the true benefits.

I’m going to open us up for enrollment applications today, but please know that a number of the available places have already been filled - by previous students who want to go through the Programme again, by the scholarship places which have already been awarded (please don’t ask, but pre-register for next year when that opens up again in June!), and by people who have pre-registered and done the 3 classes required to qualify (I’ll put details of that in the Enrollment Now Open email, so make sure you can tick those boxes before we make our final application decisions by Midnight on Sat 30th, again… full details will be in the emails!).

So, we have limited places left - I can’t honestly give an exact number yet due to the nature of the application and acceptance process, but it’s currently looking to be around the 25/26 mark still available). This video, and the emails, don’t go out to everyone on our whole list.. Just the folk who might be interested in connecting to the Mórrígan… that’s 1,117 of you at this point. Just so you know.

The enrollment process will stay open for just 4 more days, and then we shut it all down, make sure everyone who enrolled is a good fit for the group and the work, and start the Programme with our first monthly meeting on Sunday 31st!

Since you’re watching this video, either you’re interested in taking the Programme this year, or you’re just curious what it’s about - and maybe being in a position to do it SOME year. Either of those is grand. I’ll give you some more info, and some extra Mórrígan resources and bonus content in your emails over the next few days, and you can just make the choices that are best for you. My mission from herself, if you remember is to deliver real information and authentic connection to Ireland through my content and teaching… so please take what you are ready for and leave the rest for another time, perhaps. No pressure, right?

With regards to what’s actually involved in this ‘life changing’ Programme, to quote my students, here’s some facts.

We meet online once per month, on the last Sundays at 7pm Irish Standard Time, for approximately 90 minutes. We do some check ins, updates on the Programme Curriculum, and a Guided Journey live together. Your monthly materials (including the next meeting invite and Journey recordings) are delivered by the first of each new month, and your work begins.

As you’ve seen, and will see more of as we hear from many previous and current students while we go through the content and resources over the next few days - the most common way previous students describe this work is LIFE CHANGING.

Be Ready.

And after the 6 months are over, you’ll still have access to all the materials from 2020, for as long as you remain a member of the Irish Pagan School… so you’ll be able to go back over the materials at your leisure. You’ll find that the ability to review the material as often as you like… at your own convenience… is simply priceless. And, you’ll remain in the 2020 Members Only Facebook group for as long as you wish to as well, so you won’t lose the community and support that builds up over the Programme, and is such a fantastic bonus to your membership.

We're going to cover a lot of ground over the 6 months, but we do it in a way that builds gradually and won’t overwhelm you, so you’ll be able to stay on track, week by week and month by month, and build on those foundations you’ve already started by Connecting to the Mórrígan in your own ways and time.

All in all, the Programme is a comprehensive and pretty complete solution for anyone wanting to develop an authentic Right Relationship with the Mórrígan. But each year I think long and hard about how I can make this experience even better. And this year, I’m going to devote a little more of my time and energy to folk who have previously struggled with college type studies, or building good habits, or staying organised.

So, I’ve been doing a lot of research and talking to a lot of folk around neuro divergency, ADHD, Autism, Trauma, and a variety of other issues that can affect how we do this sort of work. Some of this is in my own realm of experience, and some isn’t at present, so I’m trying to cover a lot of bases and figure stuff out with people whose experience this IS.

There’s so much to all of this, I might actually break it out and run a separate course on it, at some point when I’m not busy?! But for now, I’m incorporating it in as a Bonus and extra support for our ‘Meeting the Mórrígan’ Programme students only.

All year round, I’m pretty upfront about the cost of this Programme, but if you’ve missed it so far, you might be wondering by now what the cost will be. And of course I’m going to tell you… Besides the time and energy this will require, the investment in our Meeting the Mórrígan will be €1099 euro, or $1,197 dollars, for this year. If you want to take the 6 month payment option, that will be €197 or $217 per month. This works out around $6.65 per day.

It’s a big price tag for most of us. It was for Sarah, who joined the Programme in 2019. Her fears were turned around though, and she said:

“As scary as the price can be, you won’t get this level of learning elsewhere that I have found. There are darn few teachers teaching on the Morrigan and even fewer that are native Irish and accessible to us here in the US.

You get access to the native teacher and other students of various learning levels going through the material with you. The access to other students was a huge help as it was a reminder that we were not alone. Lora was also accessible and there is a huge backlog on YouTube of free resources that only helped me on my way through the material. When I signed up it was advised it was a college level experience and that assessment was not wrong. I have paid through the nose for classes and been thoroughly disappointed by the results. This was not the case here.”

And look, at the end of the day, you might not need this programme. It’s not for everyone, by any means! You could figure all of this out on your own. I’ve spent my whole life really, but 26 years specifically and actively learning to do what I do. And you might be able to do it faster - there’s a lot more resources now! - and maybe make less mistakes than I did to get to where I am in my relationship with the Mórrígan. If you don’t want to spend that long though, and if you would like some guidance, and some focused community - then this programme might be right for you. But only if you are ready to really commit, and do the work with us in 2020.

There are many of ye who are not ready, and honestly, that’s ok. Just don’t miss this opportunity to move forward out of fear, or a false sense of that dreaded ‘imposter syndrome’. I’ve been there, thinking I shouldn’t need help, I should be able to do this on my own. That’s bullshit. We’ve all been there, and we all want to help you move through that. We all need guidance, community, and support. The best way to get through all of that is to get stuck in, right now, together.

So, go to our enrollment page, and click the big orange 'Enroll Now' button. If your application is accepted through our internal process (I will be checking in with the Mórrígan herself, basically, to make sure this is a good fit for YOU right now, primarily), we will have a look in our system to ensure you have completed each of the 3 pre-required classes, and you will be offered a place by Midnight on Saturday 30th May. If for any reason your application is unsuccessful, you will receive a FULL refund, of course.

Don't forget you have a full, no fuss, 30 day money back guarantee too, if you figure out this isn’t a fit for you for any reason... so I guess you can't lose!

One thing that I need to mention... this is a limited timed offer. Enrollment for Meeting the Mórrígan is only open for a few days – 4 more days actually… and then we close down the application process, do all our checks and balances, and start the Programme.

If you want the chance to change your relationship with the Mórrígan in 2020, then you will need to act quickly… and if the remaining available places fill up, we’ll have to shut down sooner. Sorry, but I do need to keep the annual membership nice and tight so the group has a good experience as a whole. However, if it’s not right for you this year, or you take action a little too late and miss out… well, please don’t freak out or anything - we’ll offer another chance at the Programme next year, starting around May as usual. If you’re not ready to step up today, then maybe when it opens again in a year from now will be the right time for you.

If you’re ready to build your personal ‘Right Relationship’ with the Mórrígan this year, then your next step is to click the orange Enroll Now button on the homepage for Meeting the Mórrígan 2020 (you’ll find the link in your emails, or through the Irish Pagan School.com, and get your application in on time.

Oh, and one more thing, I’m going to leave the access to our 3 part ‘Connecting with the Mórrígan’ workshop materials available to our new Programme students beyond the May cut off, so you’ll have that as a bonus resource through the year.

Once you enroll to apply, you do have a full 30 days to see if my our Meeting the Mórrígan Programme is right for you. If you feel it isn’t, for any reason, just let us know and we'll gladly refund your money in full. No hassles. No hard feelings. No explanation necessary - we work on an honour system.

One last thing…

I am not some fricking know it all Irish Pagan guru. I’ve been blessed to be right here on site in Ireland my whole life, and I figured this shit out, by myself, the hard way. What I’ve learned - all of those ‘hard ways’ - has gone into creating this Intensive programme - all the things I wish I’d had someone to teach me, or show me, or share with me… so I didn’t have to do it the hard way. Since then I have continually worked on it... refining it, adding to it, perfecting it as best I can, and that’s a journey, not a destination.

The result is a method, a system, a process that can be applied very successfully over and over, whether you’re brand new or more experienced, it doesn’t matter. Doing it this way works. And if you’re a beginner, that’s grand! That’s when you’re most likely to get lost, or confused. To become overwhelmed, to lose your way, or lose hope. I’ve been there too. But that’s when it’s most useful to have a supportive community, and a guide who knows the way - we can figure out in 5 minutes, what might have taken you 5 months, or 5 years! If you’re ready to build your own relationship with the Mórrígan, in the midst of a small, supportive community of fellow seekers, then your next step is to click the Enroll button below and get your application in for the 2020 Programme.

Now is your time. If not now, when? There is no ‘perfect time’ for anything, but when is it finally your time with your spirituality? What is you feel you can’t justify investing in yourself? #RelatableContent, I have definitely been there. Just today, I had to help my partner to choose and buy a set of headphones that he’s needed for way too long - I get this, believe me. Life is hard, and it seems even harder just now, but this is an opportunity to grow, and develop, and change. You can create change in yourself that will blossom out into the world, and help all the rest of it to get better. I have seen it! This is your chance to step up, to change. There has never a better time… with everything that’s happening, we need solid community leaders and more guides who have truly connected and built a Right Relationship, now more than ever. So if you feel this is the right direction for you, step up. Take the necessary action.

We are closing enrollment at Midnight (Irish time, always Irish time!) in 4 days from now.

You have a big decision to make. I can’t make it for you… the only thing I can do is tell you that this programme is effective, and really lives up to that ‘Intensive’ name. works. It’s worked for me (yes, I re-do it every year too!), and it’s worked for the hundreds of students who have committed to doing this work with the Mórrígan, and with me, since 2015. Enroll Now, and I'll see you in the programme...
